Rapper Eminem will team up with Nike in creating a limited time only collection of Air Max runners for charity.

Eminem, 33, will design the runners himself and add some uniqueness to the already Air Max models, from the Air Max ‘87 to Air Max 360. He will design eight shoes in the series, a total of 64. The shoes will be auctioned off with all the money going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation and ninemillion.org.

Once the shoes are done, they will be numbered and autographed by none other than the controversial rapper.

“We’re always looking for new ways to try to raise money and awareness for the foundation, so when Nike approached us we jumped at the chance. Who wouldn’t want to design their own line of Nikes? And to do it for charity makes it that much better,” Eminem wrote on his website.

The auction will take place over a four-week period, where the shoes will be sold at Nike stores around the world, as well as on eBay. The auction is set to begin August 31.
