While “Snakes On a Plane” didn’t take home first place for the second weekend in a row – it didn’t even place in the top five.

Instead, it was “Invincible” – the true story of a teacher who follows his lifelong dream to become a football player – that took home first place, taking in $17 million at the North American Box Office this past weekend.

Second place went to “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” which took in $8 million, while “Little Miss Sunshine” was third with $7.5 million. “Beerfest” was fourth with $6.5 million, and “Accepted” came in fifth $6.5 million.

Those darn “Snakes of a Plane” were sixth, taking in a measly $6.4 million, “World Trade Center” was seventh with $6.3 million, “Step Up” was eighth, taking in $6.1 million, “Idlewild,” was ninth, taking in $5.9 million and “Barnyard,” was tenth with $5.4 million.
