Tom Cruise Dumped by Paramount
Reuters is reporting that Paramount Pictures is ending its business partnership with Tom Cruise’s production company after 14 years.
Reuters quotes a story in the Wall Street Journal, which says that Cruise was dumped due to his off screen antics.
“As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal. His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount,” Sumner Redstone, chairman of Paramount, said to the paper.
Cruise’s behaviour was unacceptable to Paramount, the story said.
Cruise’s rep provided no comment on the reports.
