Brooke Burke and David Charvet are engaged and expecting their first child.

Charvet, 34, proposed to Burke, 34, during a party he threw Saturday night. He pulled out an eternity band engagement ring, which signified “it’s forever,” said Burke, reports People.

“It was a total surprise. It was all very romantic. He’s my best friend,” said Burke.

Adding to the engagement is the news of her pregnancy. Burke confirmed her pregnancy to Tommy Lee who reported the good news in a recent radio interview.

Burke and Charvet have known each other for years but only recently started dating when Burke split from her ex-husband and started to host Rock Star: INXS.

Burke was married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher. They share two children, Neriah, 6, and Sierra, 4.

Burke was the host of E!’s Wild On! before hosting Rock Star. She also made a few television appearances on such shows as Las Vegas.

Charvet is famous for his roles on the hit shows Baywatch and Melrose Place.
