Jon Gries, best known for his role as glory days-obessesed Tupperware salesman Uncle Rico in the movie “Napoleon Dynamite,” likely won’t face charges after a road rage incident.

According to E! Online, Gries was arrested and charged with assault following a reported “physical altercation” two weeks ago. No specific details have been released by authorities.

“We’ll set up a time for each of the parties to come in and see if we can determine if there was any property damage, then work out restitution in lieu of criminal action,” said Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesman Frank Mateljan. “It not, we would then advise the victim what their legal rights and responsibilities are and what they can seek.”

Mateljan added that the city still reserves the right to file charges, but that it rarely happens in these types of minor situations.
