Actress Kellie Martin and her husband, Keith Christian, are expecting their first child due in October.
Although she is excited for her new bundle of joy, she is not prepared.
“I never even babysat. The only time I’ve changed a diaper is when my friend, who just had a baby, called and said, ‘Come over, you need to practice,” confesses Martin, reports People.
That all changed when she got some hands on experience on the set of “Mystery Movies,” when her character Samantha Kinsey takes care of a suspect’s child. The child was played by 6-month-old triplet boys.
“I looked at the mother, who was taking care of these three little babies, and I thought, ‘I can’t imagine how demanding that must be. I’m just going to get one. Yeah, I can do this!’” says Martin.
Martin, 30, starred in the series “Life Goes On” and “ER.”
