Rapper Lil’ Wayne was arrested in Atlanta, GA on Monday for drug possession. He was later released on bond and is facing various drug charges.

Billboard reports that the 23-year-old New Orleans-native was taken into police custody in the early morning hours. Few details are known about the arrest.

Wayne (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter) released his newest album, “The Carter II,” last year. It was the second release in his planned five-installment “Carter” series.

He currently has a U.S. tour lined up with Dem Franchize Boyz, set to kick off August 17 in Cincinnati. As of yet, no cancellations or postponements of tour dates have been announced.
