P.O.D. Says Goodbye To Atlantic Records
Rock band P.O.D has split from Atlantic Records due to the degree of change within the label.
P.O.D has been with Atlantic Records since 1998 but feel that the label has changed.
“We’ve been proud to be Atlantic recording artists, but it’s not the same place anymore,” the band says, reports Billboard.
“For most of our stay, we were blessed by a staff that was gracious towards our vision, faith and love of music,” it continues. “It’s time to dream again with a new staff and we leave with grateful hearts.”
Testify, which was released in February, was the last album for Atlantic Records.
P.O.D are back on stage for a performance on August 19 at San Diego’s Petco Park, following the San Diego Padres vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks game.
