Actress Kate Hudson and her husband, singer Chris Robinsion, are separating after six years of marriage.

Reuters reports that Hudson’s pulicist, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed the news but released no other details. A spokesperson for Robinson said he had no comment on the report.

Hudson and Robinson married on New Year’s Eve in 2000. They have one child together, 2-year-old son Ryder.

The 27-year-old actress is the daughter of fellow Hollywood star Goldie Hawn. Her film credits include 2000’s “Almost Famous, and more recently, this year’s “You, Me and Dupree.”

Robinson, 29, is the singer for rock band The Black Crowes, whose hits include “Hard to Handle” and “She Talks to Angels.”
