Kanye West is engaged, well sort of, well make that maybe.

People magazine posted on its web site that the rapper is engaged to his girlfriend, Alexis.

Alexis’ last name, age and occupation are not known, and West’s publicist did not return calls to confirm if the report was true.

According to People, West reportedly proposed when the two were on vacation – but it is not known when or where this vacation happened.

The two began dating in 2002, but broke up at some point in 2004. It is not known when the two got back together.

The date of the wedding is not known either.
