McConaughey’s Car Brings In Over $61,000 for Hurricane Relief
Matthew McConaughey’s 1971 Corvette Stingray convertible, which was auctioned off on eBay, has been sold for over $61,000, the Associated Press reports.
The car received 72 bids, and the name of the high bidder was not released by eBay.
The auction was part of an auction for hurricane relief to help citizens who were affected by Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita last year.
McConaughey has said he will donate the money raised from the sale of his car to Oprah’s Angel Network for Katrina and Rita Relief.
