The first photos of Suri Cruise, the new child of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, may appear in the pages of Vanity Fair magazine sometime this fall.

According to The New York Post on Wednesday, the magazine has acquired photographs of the baby, reportedly shot by celebrity snapper Annie Leibovitz.

The new Cruise family member was born April 18, but hasn’t yet been seen by the public. Recently, family friend and fellow actress Penelope Cruz said she had seen Suri, and that she is “beautiful.”

Reuters reports that a spokeswoman for Vanity Fair declined comment on the news, and that a spokesman for Leibovitz’s studio said, “We know nothing about this. The studio is closed for August.”

Recently, celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sold photographs of their newborn child Shiloh — shot just seven days after her birth — to People magazine. The multimillion dollar profit from the sale of the pictures was donated to charity.
