Kristy Swanson, who played the title role in the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” movie in 1992, is expecting her first child with partner Lloyd Eisler, People reports.

The couple met when Swanson competed on Fox’s reality show “Skating With Celebrities” last season, where she was paired with Eisler, a professional skater. The couple began dating in December.

Swanson had denied rumours of her pregnancy until her publicist released a statement to People.

“We wanted to wait until I completed the first trimester to officially announce our pregnancy. Lloyd and I are thrilled and wanted to share the wonderful news,” the statement read.

People says the actress is due on Valentine’s Day.
