After discovering that his soon-to-be-ex-wife Heather Mills has been taking large amounts of money from the couple’s joint bank account, Paul McCartney froze the account.

It appears that Mills, 38, was withdrawing an obscene amount of money that left McCartney, 64, disgusted.

“It seems she is determined to spend money while she has a chance before the divorce goes through,” a source revealed, reports entertainmentwise.com. “Sir Paul has been concerned that Heather is spending his money for the sake of it.”

However, the bitter battle took a turn for the worse when McCartney decided to change the locks on their London home they shared together.

After agreeing she would come by and pick up their daughter, Mills arrived at their London home to find out her key didn’t work. After a few minutes of attempting to get in, a security guard called the police of a possible intruder. The security guard may not have recognized her but the police sure did. The matter was resolved but Mills was left humiliated.

“Heather was absolutely mortified,” a source told the Daily Mail. “She doesn’t understand if Paul is trying to publicly humiliate her, or whether it was simply a genuine misunderstanding.”

Reps for McCartney and Mills refuse to comment on the matter. They share a 2-year-old child Beatrice.
