Teenage singer Cheyenne Kimball has announced a new tour of HMV stores in malls across the country.

According to a press release, Kimball will make stops in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto for full-band performances and autograph sessions.

“HMV is both delighted and honoured to showcase Cheyenne autograph sessions in our stores,” said HMV Canada Director of Marketing Saundra Bianchi. “She is a bright, promising artist that we are proud to share with our customers.”

The tour is in support of the Texan’s debut album, “The Day Has Come.” The disc, which hits streets on August 8, is described in the release as a collection of “rocking, blues and roots-infused” tunes.

Kimball first gained attention when she won NBC’s television program “America’s Most Talented Kids” in 2003.

She now lives in Los Angeles, and is the star of MTV’s reality-based show, “Cheyenne.”
