Underoath has announced that it is dropping out of the Vans Warped Tour and will not play any futher dates with the travelling punk show.

“We’re deeply frustrated and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused,” said the band, according to a press release. “We felt it necessary to take some immediate time to focus on our friendship, as that’s more important than risking it for the sake of touring at this time.”

Though the press release also tells fans to watch for information about new dates, over a dozen Warped stops will now be without Underoath, including shows in Barrie and Montreal.

However, for the time being, the band is still set to play an upcoming tour of Canada. That trek kicks off in mid-September and runs for two weeks.
