Lindsay Lohan Treated for Heat Exhaustion
Actress Lindsay Lohan was treated in hospital after being overcome by heat while filming “Georgia Rule” in California.
According to entertainment show The Insider, Lohan was driven from the movie set to a Los Angeles-area hospital. She received treatment for overheating and dehydration over a stay of several hours, including a shot of vitamin B-12. Lohan was expected to resume production on the film the next day.
Lohan’s publicist Leslie Sloan Zelnick said that the actress had been filming for 12 hours in 40-degree C weather.
“Georgia Rule” tells the story of a misbehaving teen (played by Lohan) who is taken by her mother to spend the summer with her grandmother. The movie costars Felicity Huffman as Lohan’s mother and Jane Fonda as her grandmother.
