Country Crooner LeAnn Rimes has had to cancel concert dates to undergo emergency surgery on her leg, E! Online reports.

“It’s a minor surgery, but because of the infection it was urgent that she takes care of it right away,” Rimes? publicist Diana Baron said in a statement released on Monday.

Rimes was forced to cancel three dates on her tour: Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, and two shows in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She is expected to resume her tour on schedule on July 19.

She is currently touring in support of her newest album, “This Woman,” which went all the way to number two on the Billboard Country Chart.
