Looks like not heading Fuel or winning “American Idol” has not hampered Chris Daughtry?s career.
The singer, whose booting from the hit reality show was the most controversial moment of the “American Idol” season last year, has signed a record deal, E! Online reports.
19 Recordings/RCA Records announced Monday that Daughtry had signed a record deal with them. The album is expected to be released later this year, and will feature co-written songs by Daughtry.
Daughtry already has a hit on the charts from the new “American Idol” CD, he is also receiving heaps of praise from critics for his performances in the “American Idol” summer tour.
