Failed Sitcom Finds Life Online
It seems everybody is watching “Nobody’s Watching.”
The show, now available on YouTube, was created for television as a pilot about two screenwriters trying to make a sitcom. It was turned down by NBC and the soon-to-be-defunct WB.
According to the Toronto Star, the show is hitting it big with audiences on YouTube (nearly 300,000 views so far), that the show might be picked up by a network after all.
“Nobody’s Watching” was created by Bill Lawrence, who also helmed “Scrubs” and “Spin City.” Both ABC and Comedy Central in the U.S. have expressed interest in the nearly two-year-old pilot.
