According to All Headline News, singer Annie Lennox was awarded an honourary degree earlier today in Scotland.
The Eurythmics singer received an honourary doctorate for her work in the music industry from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama at the school’s graduation ceremony.
“What I have done with my life has been about self-invention and I don’t have degrees or qualifications or anyone to guide me and I still work very much in that way … I am very happy to be here, even though I feel like a complete fraud,” Lennox told the Associated Press about receiving the honourary degree.
