Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy last night in Los Angeles, US Weekly reports.
The baby’s name has not been released, but details of his birth have. He was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed in at 10 pounds, 9 ounces.
Hargitay plays Detective Olivia Benson on Law and Order: SVU, which is where she met Hermann (he played a defense attorney).
The couple have been married for two years and this is the first child for both actors.
