The Rolling Stones will stay on schedule with their current tour even though guitarist Ronnie Wood checked into a rehab centre this week for alcoholism.

The band’s publicist has confirmed that the ‘A Bigger Band’ tour will restart on July 11 in Milan as planned, reported the CBC. The tour had already been delayed by Keith Richards’ head injury in Fiji.

“[Wood] needs some rest, but he will definitely be fit for the first night of the European tour,” said publicist Fran Curtis.

Wood, 59, has struggled with alcohol abuse in the past. He was also in rehab last year.

The upcoming leg of the tour will take the Rolling Stones to 21 venues in 11 countries, including Germany, Norway, Spain and Portugal.
