Despite the recent rumours to the contrary, Britney Spears will not be having her second child in Namibia, thehollywoodnews.com reports.

Reports swirled this weekend the Spears had considered giving birth away from the paparazzi a la Angelina Jolie. They also reported the pop princess went as far as contacting Namibian Tourist Officials to make arrangements for the trip.

But alas, it was all just speculation. Leon Jooste, Namibian Deputy Environment and Tourism Minister, reportedly received a call from Spears herself inquiring about the possibility. Spears publicist denied the call was ever made.

For his part, Jooste says the caller may have fooled him because it was a bad connection.
