Moss Will Not Face Charges
According to Reuters, Kate Moss will not face drug charges in London after all.
The Crown Prosecution Services (CPS) of London has said they will not be laying charges in regards to the allegations Moss took illegal drugs at a recording studio last year.
Moss was questioned by police after the Daily Mirror printed pictures of the supermodel allegedly smoking cocaine. However, the police ultimately decided there was not enough evidence to formally charge her.
“The film footage provides an absolutely clear indication that Ms Moss was using controlled drugs and providing them to others. However, in the absence of any forensic evidence, or direct eyewitness evidence about the substance in question, its precise nature could not be established,” said Rene Barclay, the CPS’s London director of serious casework.
After the publication of the photos, Moss went into rehab in France and lost many modeling contracts due to the allegations.
