The MMVAs are just five days away!

Leading the pack this year with five nominations each are Kardinal Offishall, Billy Talent and Massari.

The MuchMusic Video Awards air on MuchMusic and other Chum channels on June 18.

Today, take a look back at some of andPOP’s past interviews with the three artists who earned the most nominations.

Kardinal Offishall
After four years of label woes, Kardinal finally released the follow-up to his breakthrough album, “Firestarter Vol. 1,” late last year. “Fire and Glory” includes the hits “Everyday (Rudebwoy)” and “Heads Up.” Later this summer, look for a remix of “Last Standing Soldier” featuring Bedouin Soundclash.

Billy Talent
Billy Talent return on June 27 with the band’s sophomore release, “Billy Talent II.” Over the past three years, the band has been touring extensively across North America, performing hits like “River Below” and “Try Honesty.”
