Cars Zoom Past The Break Up
Seems the public is over “The Break Up.”
The Jennifer Aniston-Vince Vaughn comedy fell to second place, taking in $20.5 million over the weekend, Reuters reports. The new Pixar animated film ?Cars? took the top spot taking in $62.8 million.
Despite opening on Tuesday, ?The Omen? placed fourth, only taking in $15.45 million over the weekend, bringing its six (hmmm coincidence?) day total to $35.7 million.
Rounding out the top 10 at number three was ?X-Men The Last Stand? taking in $15.55 million, at number five was “Over the Hedge” taking $10.301 million, “The Da Vinci Code” was sixth $10.3 million, “A Prairie Home Companion” debuted at seventh taking in $4.7 million, ?Mission: Impossible III” was eighth with $3 million, “RV” was at ninth place taking in $2 million, and rounding out the top 10 at number 10 was “Poseidon” with $1.8 million.
