Christina Aguilera’s new album will be a double CD after all, MTV.com reports.

The singer had said in the past that she recorded enough material for a double CD, but was working at narrowing the choices down so it would fit on one CD to make it more affordable for her fans. However, at the MTV Movie Awards, taped last Saturday and aired last night, Aguilera confessed she had changed her mind again.

“The first half is based upon working with more beat-driven producers and will use samples and things like that, and then the second disc is all me and Linda Perry,” Aguilera said.

The album, entitled “Back to Basics” will be a tribute to the music of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. It will be released on Aug. 15, nearly four years after her last album was released.
