Black Eyed Peas to Play China
The Black Eyed Peas will make two stops in China next month on their “Money Business” tour.
According to promoters China West Entertainment, the hip-hop group will play a July 18 show at Beijing’s Exhibition Center Theater and a July 20 concert at the Shanghai Grand Stage.
Performances by popular, foreign musical acts are rare in the country. Most artists granted access to the country have long-since passed the height of their success.
Only recently were the Rolling Stones allowed to bring their show across Chinese borders. And given the censorship the Stones faced, Peas’ fans in the country shouldn’t expect too much talk of “lady lumps.”
