Rolling Stones Tour Back On
The Rolling Stones are set to resume touring now that guitarist Keith Richards is fully recovered following brain surgery. The European leg of their “A Bigger Bang” tour had to be pushed back to give Richards adequate recovery time.
The rescheduling means that most dates will go ahead in the summer, while nine shows have been delayed until fall and two have been completely cancelled, reports AFP.
The rescheduled tour, according to the band’s website, kicks off in Milan on July 11 and lasts until September.
Shows in Barcelona, Brussels, Gothenburg, St Petersburg, Brno, Warsaw, Athens, Zagreb and Frankfurt have yet to be rescheduled. Dates in Nuremburg and Leipzig have been cancelled.
