Jacksoul Covers Ashlee Simpson Tune
Jacksoul is releasing a new album on June 20, and one of the songs may raise the eyebrows of a few fans.
The disc, entitled “My Soul,” features a string of hits from other artists, with a Jacksoul spin on it. The chosen songs are everything from Blue Rodeo to Sam Roberts to Ashlee Simpson.
Yes, you read that right – Ashlee Simpson. As in the lip-synching teeny bopper, sister of Jessica Simpson (formerly of Jessica and Nick).
Jacksoul frontman Haydain Neale will cover Simpson’s song, “Pieces of Me,” putting his own soul spin on the tune, making this album a must for any Jacksoul fan; or, any Ashlee Simpson fan.
