Director Sofia Coppola, whose new film “Marie-Antoinette” received a cold response at Cannes, is reportedly pregnant. The 35-year-old is expecting a baby with her boyfriend, singer Thomas Mars, according to People magazine.
Coppola won a best screenplay Oscar for 2003’s “Lost in Translation,” a film she also directed. Previously, she helmed the screen adaptation of “The Virgin Suicides.”
Coppola’s father is Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola. In his 1993 movie, “The Godfather: Part III,” she played the character of Mary Corleone.
Previously, Coppola was married to director Spike Jones for four years. The two divorced in 2003.
