Former “Saved by the Bell” star Lark Voorhies has filed suit against the National Enquirer. Voorhies claims that a story published last summer alleging she was battling a cocaine addiction was libelous and untrue.

The actress, best known as “Lisa Turtle” on the popular ’90s sitcom, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday.

According to the filing, obtained by TMZ.com, Voorhies claims she “suffered humiliation, mental anguish, emotional and physical distress, and has been injured in mind and body” as a result of the article.
