Brangelina Baby Delivered by C-Section
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s new baby, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, was delivered by Caesarean section, according to People magazine.
The procedure, commonly known as C-section, involves the surgical removal of a fetus through an incision in the stomach.
Jolie’s obstetrician from Los Angeles, Dr. Jason Rothbart, told people that he delivered the child by C-section “due to breech presentation.” He added that the birth went “flawlessly.”
Shiloh was born on Saturday in the African country of Namibia. Though Pitt and Jolie have yet to make a public appearance, the baby is reportedly in good health.
The couple also has two adopted children, Zahara and Maddox.
