Kevin Federline has reportedly been sent by his wife, Britney Spears, to live in their basement. Apparently, Spears is so tired of Federline’s wild behaviour that she’s split up their California mansion and banished him to the bottom level. Let’s hope he took his new album with him.

“Their relationship has become so hostile she just doesn’t see how she can make it work. She has ordered him down to the basement,” said a source quoted by the UK’s Daily Mirror.

K-Fed has reportedly ticked off Britney by drinking, smoking marijuana and spending Mother’s Day with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson and their two children, instead of with Spears.

“Britney desperately wanted it to work and she still does for the sake of their family, but she has had enough of him,” said an unidentified friend of the singer.

Spears and Federline have been married for just 20 months.
