Madonna kicked of her “Confessions” tour on Sunday by crucifying herself, insulting George Bush and dancing her Kabbalah-loving heart out at the Los Angeles Forum.

During her performance of “Live to Tell,” Madonna wore a crown of thorns and suspended herself from a large mirrored cross. Video screens displayed images of third-world poverty in the background.

Later in the show, another video montage juxtaposed footage of Bush and Tony Blair with images of Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden and Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe. According to WENN, Madonna also changed the lyrics during her performance of “I Love New York,” singing, “Just go to Texas and suck George Bush?s dick.”

The two hour performance focused heavily on her latest album, “Confessions on a Dancefloor,” but old hits like “Lucky Star,” “Ray of Light” and “Like a Virgin” also popped up.

The 47-year-old diva hits Canada on June 21-22 for sold-out shows at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
