According to eOnline, Bruce Willis announced at the Cannes Film Festival this past weekend that Die Hard 4 will be made.
“I’ve got a little bit of good news. We’re as close as we’ve ever got to getting Die Hard 4 started. It won’t be called Die Hard 4 but that will be the story. Hopefully it will be out next summer,” Willis said.
However, revisions to the script were made after it was realized that it had a seen which had an eerie resemblance to the Hurricane Katrina aftermath.
Originally, the film had a series of scenes set on the Mississippi, where a freight train crashes through a bridge on to an oil tanker, which causes an explosion and sends huge waves into New Orleans.
Firm release and production start dates have not been released.
