‘Will & Grace’ say Farewell
After eight years, ?Will and Grace? will air its good-bye episode tonight.
The sitcom began in 1998 and focused on the relationship between gay man Will Truman and his female best friend, Grace Adler who was straight.
The show was said to have paved the way like nothing before it in showing a gay character in a leading role on American broadcast television. It received many Emmy, Golden Globe nominations and won many awards from GLAAD for is positive depiction of gays and lesbians.
The show will air a good-bye retrospective at 8 p.m. followed by the hour long finale at 9 p.m. on Global and NBC.
