End of an Era for ‘That ’70s Show’
Fox?s That ?70s Show will end Thursday night after eight seasons and 200 episodes. Characters in the popular retro-themed comedy will say goodbye to audiences during an hour-long episode set on New Year?s Eve 1979. Thankfully, the short-lived That ?80s Show isn’t around to kick off the new decade.
Though the program?s final season suffered from the absence of Eric (Topher Grace) and Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), That ?70s Show still managed to haul in more than 6 million viewers every week.
However, any loose ends are sure to be tied up during tonight?s episode when both Kutcher and Grace return for the big finale.
?You’ll see certain things happen to the characters that open up the possibility for a future, but that future is up to you to imagine,? executive producer Mark Hudis told Zap2It.com of the final show. ?I feel like it would be a gigantic mistake to show you that future 10 years from now.?
