If a judge told you to choose between 240 hours of community service or a $500 fine plus five days in jail, would you run, not walk, to buy a broom and start sweeping the highways?

I would.

Michelle Rodriguez wouldn?t.

Rodriguez, one of the stars of the hit ABC show Lost, chose to spend five days in jail and pay the fine rather than the community service.

A judge in Hawaii, where Lost is filmed, gave the actress that option, after she pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.

She entered prison on Tuesday and will spend four days locked up (she already spent a night in jail after her arrest).

Rodriguez, who plays Ana Lucia on Lost, was charged after she was pulled over on Dec. 1.

Fifteen minutes later, another Lost cast member was pulled over for DUI ? Cynthia Watros, who plays Libby.

Watros pleaded guilty in January and was fined $312 and ordered to take 14 hours of counseling and to undergo an alcohol assessment.

Both actresses, coincidently, joined Lost this season, after it became one of North America’s highest rated shows when it debuted last year.
