Velvet Revolver No More?
Despite reports suggesting the five members of Velvet Revolver are calling it quits, the group is staying together and working on a new album.
According to the band’s official web site, Velvet Revolver is writing songs for their upcoming second album.
Reports of the band’s breakup started after Axl Rose, former lead singer of Guns N’ Roses, issued a statement bashing his former GNR members (who are now in Velvet Revolver). He accused Slash of tearing into the former members as well.
Velvet Revolver’s Scott Weiland then posted a message on his band’s site calling Rose a “frightened little man.”
The bickering is all very confusing, but the bottom line is Velvet Revolver are sticking together while GNR are a distant memory.
