Stephen Colbert Pens Book
Stephen Colbert is planning to release a book in the fall of 2007, his publisher annouced.
“This book will have the same noble goal as my television show: to change the world one factual error at a time,” says Colbert, who takes pride by coining the term “truthiness.”
The former Daily Show correspondent hosts Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.
According to Variety, Warner Books will pay Colbert a seven-figure sum to write the book.
Colbert plans to write the book himself. He had some book writing experience?most notably contributing to Jon Stewart’s book about America appropriately called “American (The Book).”
