Coldplay Not Breaking Up
Coldplay scared a lot of fans this week, when Chris Martin hinted at a split, while accepting a Brit Award.
“It’s going to be a few years before you see us again,” Martin said. “People are fed up with us, and so are we.”
The tabloids assumed this meant Coldplay were through.
Not so, says the band’s record label.
“Coldplay are not quitting,” read a statement released by Capitol Records (and for the record, despite what a Canadian entertainment show is claiming, the statement was not exclusive to them; nice try).
