Sir Paul and Kelly Clarkson Join List of Grammy Performers
Paul McCartney and Kelly Clarkson will make their Grammy performance debuts next week the 48th annual awards show.
The former Beatle and American Idol will join an extensive list of performers at L.A.?s Staples Center, it was announced Thursday.
McCartney is nominated for three Grammys this year: Album of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Clarkson is in the running for Best Female Pop Vocal Performancee and Best Pop Vocal Album.
The Recording Academy also announced on Thursday that Ciara would take part the an all-star tribute to funk legends Sly and the Family Stone. She?ll be joining Legend, Joss Stone, Robert Randolph, Maroon 5, the Black Eyed Peas? Will.I.Am, and Aerosmith?s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.
Previously announced acts include Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, John Legend, Faith Hill with Keith Urban, U2 with Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx with Kanye West, Christina Aguilera with Herbie Hancock, and Madonna with the Gorillaz.
