Variety reports that Jennifer Lopez will play a stock trader in Bridge and Tunnel.

The movie is apparently a romantic comedy where Lopez’s character relies on a suburban teen who’s a day-trading genius with his home computer. It is unclear what the title means or whether the teen is the romantic interest. (That would be comedic. And kind of disturbing.)

Robert De Niro is one of the attached producers and Greg Berlanti, the creator of TV’s Everwood, will direct. New Line Cinema is still looking to cast the male lead. Production begins in late spring.
