With fame?comes phony tour dates. Rock act Fall Out Boy shot to stardom over the last few months and they?ve got the rumours to prove it. Last week, various punk message boards announced dates for the band?s much-anticipated upcoming tour. Fans were disappointed to learn not too long later that the dates were completely bogus.

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz wrote on the band?s official website, FallOutBoyRock.com, “The dates on the Internet right now for our spring tour are incorrect. They have not been announced yet. Unless it says we are playing a show on this Web site, don’t believe it.”

Sure enough, new dates have indeed appeared on the FOB site, posted last Thursday (January 5). Confirmed by their label, the band?s Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour will see Fall Out Boy hitting the road with the All-American Rejects and Hawthorne Heights.
