Singer and actress Lindsay Lohan has left a Miami hospital, where she was being treated for an asthma attack.

As she left the hospital, Lohan’s mother, Dina, said her daughter was feeling better.

Lohan was hospitalized Monday night after suffering the attack, which is believed to have been caused by Miami’s humid conditions around New Year’s.

She will return to New York, under the care of her mother. Lohan plans to rest for two weeks before she starts shooting a film about John Lennon’s killer called Chapter 27. The film also stars Jared Leto, an actor she has been linked to in the tabloid papers.

In the most recent Vanity Fair, released this week, Lohan reveals that she battled bulimia and experimented with drugs, but that further temptation is “out of my system.”
