19-year-old actor Drake Bell was involved in a head-on collision Thursday, and is recovering out of hospital.

The star of Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh was driving a vintage Mustang in Los Angeles when another car hit him head-on, a Nickelodeon representative told the AP.

He fractured his jaw and suffered severe cuts. The representative said he is expected to undergo plastic surgery.

Bell is “resting at home,” said the rep, Gina Hoffman.

Drake & Josh is a spin-off of The Amanda Show.

Bell has appeared on Seinfeld, The Drew Carey Show and Home Improvement, and in movies such as Jerry Maguire and High Fidelity. He also has a pop album out.
