Ryan Seacrest Inks Deal With Entertainment Network
After a failed attempt at his own television show, Ryan Seacrest is ready to give it another shot.
Seacrest signed a deal with E! Entertainment Television that will see him on air, and behind the scenes creating new series for the station.
In March, he will be lead anchor on E! News, along with current host Giuliana DePandi. He will also become managing editor of the show.
Before joining the news team, Seacrest will executive produce and be the reporter on E!’s Golden Globes red carpet coverage on January 16.
The series he will develop will be done under his company, Ryan Seacrest Productions.
Seacrest is one of showbiz’s busiest personalities. Besides all the new work for E!, he is the host of American Idol, hosts a weekday radio show in Los Angeles, has a weekly syndicated countdown show, and is a fill-in for Larry King.
