Gwen Stefani: I’m Pregnant
Pop star Gwen Stefani is expecting her first child with rocker Gavin Rossdale, she announced during a concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Wednesday.
“I want you to say it loud enough so the baby hears it,” she yelled to the crowd. “This is the end of a huge chapter for me.”
“We are delighted!” Rossdale’s father, Douglas, told Us Weekly in an interview from London.
Stefani’s mom, Patti, told Us she was excited, “but I don’t do interviews.”
Stefani, 36, and Rossdale, 38, have been married for three years and Stefani is due to give birth in June 2006.
Rossdale has a 16-year-old daughter, Daisy Lowe, from a previous relationship with fashion designer Pearl Lowe. He found out he was the father in 2004 after taking a DNA test, teenpeople.com reports.
